Affinity Group started as 2 men in cupboard, from those humble beginnings as a mortgage and protection brokerage we incorporated in 2012 Affinity and soon became a highly recommended brokerage across our main hunting ground of Essex.

Fast forward to 2021, we now sit as one of the UK’s most revered brokerages having very recently been a finalist in the Executive Partner of the year with Next Intelligence for the 3rd year running. We truly punch way above our weight in the Buy- to-let world we are extremely proud of our broker team, most of whom consistently write more than 20 cases per month with the help our fantastic case managers and specialist Protection brokers supporting them.

It is important to note that we treat our unregulated Buy-to-let cases with exactly the same exceptional standards and as we do our regulated cases. The streamlined processes in place both in terms of progressing cases and ensuring our due diligence is first class means that everything we do is for the client and their best interests, we always provide each and every case with a detailed reason why letter and have follow up care in place should it be required.

As a long standing Directly Authorised firm we have also nurtured relationships with niche lenders that are not always available to other brokers especially those that are part of a network, some of which include Private Banks such as Arbuthnot Latham, C Hoare & Co, Coutts, Investec all of which allows us to undertake a substantial amount of business for our property portfolio landlords whose needs are more complicated and often require cross-collateralization of their portfolios and drawdown facilities, so that they can increase their BTL portfolios at short notice. We also work with new lenders coming onto the market and have a great panel for LTD company Buy-to-let when the usual lenders may not look to facilitate the deal.

For us, there will always be a solution and it will always be about doing what is right by the clients. We certainly aren’t the biggest when it comes to volume but what we do bring is a total class and finesse to all the clients we transact with. To us, they’re not just a number, they’re a business owner or a landlord that we can make a difference to. It’s how we started, and it is how we will continue to transact for years to come.
