Crystal Specialist Finance – Bridging Broker nomination

We are PASSIONATE about the specialist finance sector. Our mission is to educate and collaborate with as many UK mortgage brokers as possible so informed short-term funding decisions can be introduced to their clients and excellent outcomes always evidenced as a result.

We have built the Crystal Specialist Finance Bridging proposition around three key areas, ‘Agility, Service and Flexibility’. By delivering behaviours which encompass these characteristics we believe that the client journey will ultimately be the best in the industry.

We understand the role we play in the funding process and are happy to serve the needs of our broker partner, clearly recognising that the borrower is the brokers’ client and that relationship is sacrosanct.

At Crystal, we have brilliant expertise within our bridging team and we will not be beaten on price for ‘like for like’ deals nor will we be beaten on turnaround times.

Since 2014 year-on-year growth can be evidenced and we are currently operating in line with our latest 3-5 year plan. This consistency is essential as new distribution opportunities continue to head towards us.

Although we are a relatively young team, the Company is supported by vast levels of experience and carefully selected strategic additions have been made. Recent recruits have held senior positions within large Specialist lenders – for example Precise, Foundation, Magellan, Paragon, Masthaven – There is strong desire to build the very best team in the marketplace at CSF.

We are focussed on creating a strong, robust, stable business which consistently demonstrates best practices and we will always strive for continuous improvement.

However, not all our energy is spent creating commercial and competitive gains.

Indeed, in August 2020, we launched a long-term health and wellbeing campaign which kicked off with a well-being survey to the broker community (see image attached). This survey probed the current feelings of UK mortgage advisers and introducers, which soon expands into a series of in-person and online roundtable events where attendees will be able to discuss all issues affecting their lives.

Alongside these initiatives, the campaign will also establish a mentoring programme. This programme will see broker volunteers supported by some of the biggest names across the finance industry, offer their time to provide hints/tips/guidance on mental health to those in our sector who are most vulnerable and in need of uplift.

All activity is being undertaken in collaboration with leading mental health charity Mind.

Additionally, CSF will download helpful advice onto our website and, over the next 12 months, will hold numerous charity events to maintain profile and raise money for this great cause.

To add a fun element to the launch, CSF are currently distributing stress-busting amethyst crystals to brokers and introducers who complete cases during autumn and winter.
