All of us at Landbay are proud to be a specialist intermediary-only buy-to-let lender. We believe specialist advice, that is provided by intermediaries, is crucial to achieving the right end result for the applicant.

We have followed our mantra of being ‘strong, steady and supportive’ to our intermediary partners, which has seen us complete record levels of lending during the pandemic. 2020 was our strongest year to date and 2021 will surpass that. This year we attracted new funders including Allica and Atom banks, which has enabled us to remain competitive and to launch products such as our green mortgage range, our first-time landlord HMO and trading company products.

Throughout the year we have been reducing interest rates in line with market competition and have endeavoured to always have products within the top 5 when sourced. We have raised LTVs to 80% and increased loan sizes to £2m on some products and brought in a host of new criteria and offerings. Our product options include no early redemption charges, free title insurance and free valuations.

We offer a wide range of BTL mortgages from standard cases to first-time landlords, HMOs, MUFBs, limited companies and portfolio landlords. We are also one of the few BTL lenders catering for ‘trading limited companies’ and ‘day one remortgages.’

We take BTL lending seriously and the experience we offer our intermediary partners even more seriously, however, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and we ensure that we deliver our service with light hearts and a smile.

We love our intermediaries but it is equally important that we love ourselves too! We work really hard on ensuring our team’s mental health and wellbeing are considered by providing activities such as yoga and massage on ‘Wellness Wednesdays’. We have an open-door HR policy and have put together education presentations for important events including Black History month and International Women’s and Men’s days.

It is important to us that we provide excellent service and we measure this via intermediary satisfaction micro-surveys throughout the application to completion journey, and constantly review their responses. We are also very proud to have an ‘Excellent’ Trustpilot score of 4.8.
