Launching in 2018, Lendco is a joint venture between private equity firm Cabot Square Capital and financial services intermediary SPF Private Clients. Born with the vision of servicing the professional investor with an innovative product range and ‘can do’ approach to specialist lending.
From its first completions in the autumn of 2018 the reputation of the business has grown which has seen originations now top £400M across over a thousand transactions in the BTL and Bridging space.
The Company is a bit of an industry secret for most brokers with Lendco choosing to run a limited distribution panel which as of today only extends to just over 70 brokerages. Lendco has chosen instead to attract the business it is targeting through a pool of brokers they have taken the time to get to know well and understand the needs of their borrowers.
The size of the company lends itself to its personal and flexible approach which when combined with a highly experienced underwriting team who really understand property means that complicated deals can be structured with a minimum of fuss.
