This year we announced our investment of £5 million in the next-generation mortgage, protection and GI platform. This means our advisers will be the first to access a system designed to transform the way they process business, and realise the benefits for themselves and their customers.

We also constantly analyse the market to identify trends, challenges and opportunities. In response to industry developments, we launched a series of content hubs on topics from product transfers to later life lending, to provide in-depth commentary and insight, as well as pragmatic support for our members.

Plus, our programme of exclusive and pilot product launches places our members at the cutting-edge of innovation. This year we launched 32 exclusive products, giving our members and their customers access to market-leading solutions.

Comprehensive support is available from our teams when our members need us. This ranges from the specialists on our Mortgage Desk (over 38,000 calls taken in 2019 to date), to the experts in our field relationship team, who maintain close relationships with every Sesame member firm. Working with advisers to understand their business goals, these relationship managers bring Sesame’s support and services to life for each firm in the way that works best for them.

All of this support is informed by our collaboration with the wider market and embodied in the execution of our communications strategy. Incorporating thought-leadership opportunities across events and digital channels, this enables our lender and provider partners to deliver important messages, keeping advisers up-to-date with the latest trends and developments. Plus, we added 12 new lenders to our panel this year, to provide our members and their customers with even greater choice.

We also work with lenders to identify key strategic advice areas where further support is needed. For example, this year we implemented our new build programme, designed to place a key strategic focus on this area. As part of this, we appointed a dedicated National New Build Relationship Manager, launched our New Build Helpdesk, and introduced our newest magazine New Build News, which features commentary and insights from leading lenders in this space.

Plus, in addition to a market-leading mortgage proposition, Sesame members enjoy access to a range of services designed to support their customers from the beginning to the end of any mortgage process. From protection and GI, to mortgage sourcing systems, to surveying support, to conveyancing solutions, we empower our members by giving them the choice to engage with a selection of market-leading ancillary providers, so that they can confidently offer expert support to for their customers at every stage of the mortgage process.

At Sesame, we are constantly reviewing, improving and enhancing our services in-line with market developments, members’ feedback, and our direct contact with the key players implementing change. As a result, we have increased our Net Promoter Score for the third year running, by 17 points, while also once again breaking industry records for the amount of business written through the relationships built and cultivated by Sesame.

This determination to continually raise the bar is the reason why we believe Sesame deserves to be named Mortgage Introducer’s Network Of The Year for the second year running.
